323 TIMBER PRESERVATIVE TREATMENT

ProBor DB (HSE No. 6673)
A water-dilutable concentrated liquid preservative, applied by brush or spray, for treatment against wood boring insects and wood rotting fungi. ProBor DB is suitable for use on timber up to 19mm x 38mm for insects and fungi and can be used on all timber sizes against wood boring insect attack. Consult Safeguard Europe Ltd technical literature for details. Safeguard Europe Ltd can also provide a design and specification service and it is recommended that they are consulted early in the design process.

ProBor 20 Gel (HSE No. 6422)
ProBor 20 Gel is a low odour, brush applied gel formulation, for large section timber. It is suitable for surface application, particularly effective against Deathwatch Beetle and for dry and wet rot treatment. Consult Safeguard Europe Ltd technical literature for details. Treatment method: Brush applied directly onto surface to resemble a thick gloss coat.
ProBor 50 Paste (HSE No. 5596)
Probor 50 is supplied as a clear, odourless, viscous gel-like formulation, pre-loaded into a ready-to-use cartridge to fit a standard mastic gun. It is injected into pre-drilled holes, deep into the timber, ensuring complete distribution of the Boron preservative. The product is suitable for the treatment against rot and insects.
