Vandex Accelerator
Vandex Acceleratpr is a clear, water-based accelerator for Portland Cement. It is alkaline, chloride-free, and is not harmful to steel.
Vandex Accelerator is used for remedial and waterproofing treatments to concrete and brickwork where a short setting time is required. Typical fields of application include:
Vandex Accelerator reduces the setting time of Portland Cement or Portland Cement / Sand mixes. It can be used as supplied or diluted with water up to a maximum dilution of 1:4.
The setting time depends on the concentration of Vandex accelerator. Setting time when using undiluted Vandex Accelerator is approximately 30 seconds at 20°C. The maximum dilution (1:4) will provide a setting time of approximately 5 minutes at 20°C.
When used with sand/cement mixes a 3:1 sand/cement mix is recommended.
